US Founders Club 2.0—FAQ



Do I have to live in the United States to participate?
No, you do not have to live in the United States to become a US Founder 2.0. However, you will only earn points from personal enrollees who live in the United States and have US doTERRA accounts. To earn rank advancement points from your personal enrollee’s achievements, 90% or more of their qualifying volume must come from the United States. Overall, the best way to become a US Founder 2.0 is to focus on building new leaders in the United States.

When will the points be updated for Rank Advancement on my US Founders 2.0 Dashboard?
Rank Advancement points for your own advancements and your personal enrollees are updated each month after the primary commission run. The first Rank Advancement points will be added to your Account Profile a few days after June 15, 2020.

When can I start earning points?
Points will be earned for enrollments and achievements made after the program launches on May 15, 2020.

I hit a new rank for the first time in April 2020, will I receive points for that month?
If you or your enrollee rank advances in April 2020, points will not be earned for April since the program starts May 15, 2020. However, you can earn points for the second and third time the rank is achieved after the program begins. This exception only applies to rank advancements in April 2020.

In addition, this also applies if in April you or your enrollees returned to a rank that has not been achieved since October 31, 2019 through March 2020. Points will not be earned for April rank advancements, but you can still earn points for the second and third time the rank is achieved again.

What types of points does the April 2020 exception apply to?
The April 2020 exception is for personal Rank Advancement points and your Personally Enrolled Leaders Rank Advancement points. It does not apply to points for Enrollments and LRP, Power of 3 $250, and the Empowerment Bonus; all earnings for those points will start accumulating May 15, 2020.

Can I earn points if I get back to my highest achieved rank?
If you have not reached a rank since October 31, 2019, you will be eligible to earn half the points when you achieve that rank again after May 15, 2020.

Where can I see my points?
You can view your points and progress on your US Founders 2.0 Dashboard on the doTERRA website, which will go live May 15, 2020. There is a link to your US Founders 2.0 Dashboard in the Virtual Office. Here is the link to view your points in the US Founders Club 2.0 Tracker/Dashboard.

Is there an end date for US Founders Club 2.0?
There is not a set date. The program will end once 200 people have reached 1,000 points and qualified to be US Founders 2.0.

Can I also participate in the US Latino Founders and North America Chinese Language Founders Clubs in addition to participating in the US Founders Club 2.0?
Yes, you can participate in the Latin America Founders or Chinese Founders Club at the same time as the US Founders Club 2.0. Each club has specific guidelines and policies around how this will work. Please reach out to your Account Manager or the Business Advancement Team for details on each of these clubs moving forward.

If you need to give enrollership up to someone in your structure who is trying to move up in rank, would you lose the points you had previously received associated with that enrollment?
No, you will earn rank advancement points for the months you maintain enrollership and will not lose those points after you have earned points for the month. For example, if someone you have enrollership of achieves a new rank in June and you maintain enrollership through the commission run for June commissions, you will get the points for that month. If you give up the enrollership in August, the new enroller will earn the points for when the account re-hits that rank for the second and third time. This also applies to the Power of 3 $250 and Empowerment Bonus points.

To keep the points that I have earned for US Founders Club 2.0, how long do I need to maintain enrollership?
Each month after the Commission Run is finalized, doTERRA will freeze points for US Founders Club 2.0 participants for the previous month. For example, any points earned in June will be awarded in the July 15 commission run, and will not be taken away after that commission run. After the points are frozen, you can change enrollership as needed without risk of losing points. Keep in mind that the new enroller will earn points for any second and/or third time achievements for rank, LRP orders, $250 Power of 3, or Empowerment Bonus that have not yet been awarded points.

Can I earn points if a Gold I enrolled achieves the Empowerment Bonus?
Yes, if one of your personal enrollees who is Gold Rank in the US qualifies for the Empowerment Bonus for the first time, you will receive points.

If I become a US Founder 2.0, when will I receive the bonus?
The bonuses will be paid out sometime in the first two months of each calendar year. We anticipate the bonus to grow over time.

How will I know if the 200 spots are filled?
In your US Founders 2.0 Dashboard, you will be able to see the people who have qualified to be US Founders 2.0.

I am a Wholesale Customer, can I participate in US Founders Club 2.0?
If you are a Wholesale Customer and you would like to participate in US Founders Club 2.0, you can upgrade your account to become a Wellness Advocate. You will need to be a Wellness Advocate in order to enroll people, rank advance, and earn commissions. You can upgrade your account online or call Member Services.

If I or one of my personal enrollees rank advances one month, but declines in rank the next, will I lose points?
No, once you have earned points for their rank advancement you will not lose points. You will receive more points once they hit that rank again for a second and third time.

Can M1 accounts qualify?
Yes, if you are a Presidential Diamond with an M1 account, the points will be combined for both of your accounts.

If I receive a Placements exception, will that affect my points?
Yes, if an exception is approved it may affect the points. The Placements Team and Exceptions Committee will handle these situations on a case-by-case basis.

Does my personal enrollee need to have 90% of their Organizational Volume (OV) in the US for me to earn points from their rank advancements?
No, they only need 90% of their Qualifying Volume (QV) in the US to earn points for their rank advancement. Their Organizational Volume does not matter. For example, if they are maintaining a Gold rank, they need a minimum of 1,800 OV in US volume for each of their Executive legs to count but they may have have additional volume in other markets, which is acceptable.

Once I reach 1,000 points and qualify as a US Founder 2.0, how do I make sure I stay a US Founder 2.0?
Once you have earned a Founder spot, you will need to maintain the required rank. US Founders 2.0 must maintain at least Gold rank for 10 out of 12 months in 2021–2023, and Platinum rank for 10 out of 12 months in 2024-2025 in order to stay in the US Founders Club 2.0. You will also need your personal enrollees in the United States to maintain 90% of their Qualifying Volume in the US. US Founder 2.0 spots cannot be willed to someone else.

What points will I see starting May 15, 2020?
Please note that some points will not show on the dashboard until the month’s commissions have been finalized around the twentieth of the following month. Points earned from enrollments and qualifying loyalty orders, however, will show on the dashboard as soon as the orders are placed.

I my personal enrollee reactivates their account, or upgrades from a Wholesale Customer to a Wellness Advocate, do I earn enrollment points?
In order to earn enrollment points for US Founders Club 2.0, the enrollment must be a brand new enrollment. Reactivations and upgrades will not earn points. However, if those same enrollees earn rank advance, earn the Power of 3 ($250) bonus for the first time, or the Empowerment Bonus for the first time, you will earn points for those achievements.
