Blue Tansy is warm and soothing, both topically and aromatically. Massage it into your skin or diffuse it after a long day or intense exercise.
Blue tansy—also referred to as Moroccan tansy—is an annual, yellow-flowered Mediterranean plant found in northern Morocco.
Chamazulene, a chemical component in Blue Tansy, provides the essential oil’s characteristic indigo color. Camphor, another chemical component, may soothe the skin when applied topically. And the sabinene content may help diminish the appearance of blemishes.
When diffused, Blue Tansy essential oil fills any room with a sweet aroma. Massage it into the skin with Fractionated Coconut Oil or lotion after a long day or intense exercise.
Aromatic use: Place three to four drops in the diffuser of choice.
Topical use: Apply one to two drops of Blue Tansy essential oil to desired area. Dilute with a carrier oil to minimize any skin sensitivity or temporary staining.
See additional precautions below.
Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. If you’re pregnant or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. May stain surfaces, fabrics, and skin.
