What is a BOGO?

Buy One, Get One. Every so often, we offer a BOGO deal: if you buy a specific oil, we give you another oil or related product for free. This is our way of helping you get more of the essential oil products you love!

Whether you’re wanting to expand your essential oil collection, building a doTERRA business, or you just love getting free oils, BOGO deals are for you. A few times every year, doTERRA surprises customers and Wellness Advocates with these Buy One, Get One deals that you won’t be able to resist.

BOGO Box FAQ

How long is the BOGO box available?
The BOGO box is available during BOGO week while supplies last.

​​​​​​​What comes in the box?
The BOGO Box includes all of the BOGO items from Monday to Friday.

Is there a limit?
There is a limit of two BOGO Boxes per account.

What if it’s sold out?
You can still participate in BOGOs each day, but you won’t get everything shipped at once.

Can I enroll with the BOGO Box?
Yes! When you buy the BOGO Box, we’ll waive your $35 enrollment fee!

Why are we offering the BOGO Box?
For customers who order multiple BOGOs during the week, the option to buy the BOGO Box removes the need for multiple shipments. This reduces the overall cost to the customer and decreases the packaging needed for shipping each day.

Do I still get my full PV points? How many?
You get the PV amount for each oil you buy (more information about this is available on the regular FAQ). This box has a total PV of 156.5.

Are the kits going to be available in the US, Canada, GAC, and NFR?
Yes.

Why do I need to add an additional item to my loyalty order to purchase the BOGO Box?
Because the BOGO Box is an LTO item, you need at least one item with PV on your template in order for your loyalty order to process. If you’d prefer, you can place your BOGO Box order as a traditional order, which does not require an extra item.

When will it be shipped?
The holiday season is an incredibly busy time for shipping carriers every year. Unfortunately, we have been informed by our shipping carriers that this year, due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be significant shipping delays during the holidays.

Will BOGOs last all week long?

How many BOGOs can I buy?
The BOGO limit is five per account per day.

Can I save a BOGO to process with a scheduled loyalty order?
No. BOGOs do not save to Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP) templates. If you save the BOGO to your scheduled loyalty order to process at a later date, the free item will not be included in that order. Your loyalty order must process on the day of the BOGO to receive the free item.

Can I use points to buy BOGOs?
No. Points cannot be used for BOGO promotions.

How do I know if my order has been placed and processed correctly?
An order confirmation email will be sent to the email address listed on your doTERRA account.

I missed the BOGO. Can I get an exception?
No. These special offers are available for the specified time period only.

Which markets are eligible to participate in these BOGO's?
Unless otherwise advertised, BOGOs are available to US, Canada, and all NFR markets. International markets participate in separate promotions. Check in with your specific market for details.

Do the BOGOs qualify to earn Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP) and Shipping Reward Program (SRP) points?
Normal rules apply. To receive LRP points, loyalty orders must be 50+ PV. Free items do not contribute to PV. Orders qualify for SRP points based on normal qualifications.

My credit card is being declined. What should I do?
Make sure the security code (found on the back of your card) and postal code have been entered correctly. If you continue to have problems processing your order, please immediately contact Member Services by calling 1-800-411-8151 or by using the Live Chat feature on doterra.com.

​​​​​​​Purchasing on a Standard Order

  1. Sign in to your back office and select the “Shop” tab.
  2. Select the appropriate category for the special that day. For example, if the BOGO is “buy Grapefruit, get Lemongrass for free,” you would select “Single Oils,” search for Grapefruit, and click “Add to Cart.” Once you have finished shopping, click “Proceed to Checkout.” The free Lemongrass will automatically be added to your cart.
  3. Standard orders will not receive LRP points; however, standard order Shipping Reward Program points still apply.

Purchasing on a Loyalty Rewards Order

  1. Sign in to doterra.com and click on your LRP template.
  2. Go to the “Quick Add to Cart” bar and search for the special that day. For example, if the BOGO is “buy Grapefruit, get Lemongrass for free,” search for Grapefruit and select it when it pops up in the dropdown menu.
  3. You no longer need to add an additional item for your LRP order to process, but if you wish to earn LRP points, then your order must reach at least 50 PV. (This is necessary in order for us to continue offering these amazing deals.)
  4. Once you’ve finished shopping, click “Ship Now,” and then continue to the Review Order page. The free Lemongrass will automatically be added to your cart. 
  5. Select “Process Order Now.”
  6. Make sure you adjust your template after for future processing.

Promotion Rules

  • Each BOGO runs from 12:00 a.m. Mountain Time (MT) until 11:59 p.m. MT.
    • Orders must be processed during this window. BOGOs will not save to a loyalty order scheduled to process on a later date.
  • The BOGO Limit is five per account.
  • Points cannot be used to purchase BOGOs.

Purchasing a BOGO

  1. Add the “buy one” product to your order. BOGOs can process on one-time, loyalty, enrollment, and retail orders.
    1. Do not add the free item. It will appear in the cart automatically once the “buy one” item is added.
  2. Click “Proceed to Checkout” to review your order.
  3. Select “Process Now.”
    1. The order must process on the day of the promotion. Do not save the BOGO to process at a later date.
