Pumpkin spice season is here with all its tasty October dishes and desserts. Excite your tastebuds with the flavours of the season by trying a sweet and spicy seasonal treat.

Autumn means it’s apple season! Whether you visit the orchard yourself or get them from your local farmer’s market or grocer, here are some tasty ways to help you enjoy the sweet, sweet harvest!

Fall DIYs

To add a little more festive fall fun into all your favourite seasonal activities, try your hand at some of these cute and easy DIY crafts.

Festive Fall Sugar Scrub – As the evenings get colder, a night in sounds perfect. Embrace all that is autumn and treat yourself to an at-home spa night with this festive fall sugar scrub.


  • Combine ¾ cup white or brown sugar and ½ cup Fractionated Coconut Oil in a bowl.
  • Add 4 drops Cassia oil, 2 drops Clove Bud oil, 4 drops Madagascar Vanilla oil.
  • Stir until the mixture is the consistency of a slushy. You may need to add more sugar or Fractionated Coconut Oil for desired consistency.
  • Massage into skin in the shower and enjoy a soothing sensation on the skin and a warm, uplifting aroma.

Essential Oil Bottle Pumpkin Decoration

Have empty oil bottles on hand? After cleaning them properly, upcycle them into a cute, decorative pumpkin, perfect for autumn.


  1. Paint the bottoms of your empty oil bottles orange.
  2. Arrange the bottles in rows and hot glue the sides together. Then, stack the rows into a pumpkin pattern with hot glue between each row. (Full-sized pumpkin pattern: 3, 4, 5, 4, 3. Mini pumpkin pattern: 2, 3, 2)
  3. Take an essential oil lid and glue it to the top of the pumpkin for the stem.
  4. Cut leaf shapes from the green felt or paper and hot glue them on or around the stem.
  5. Tie a short length of twine around the stem to resemble the vine.

Fun Fall Activities

Although there are plenty of fun outdoor activities to participate in during the autumn season, as the days get chillier some are better spent indoors. Here are two of our favourite fall activities enhanced with the aromas of some of the most seasonal essential oils.
