Instructions for Setting Up Canada Post Delivery Preferences
If your package is set to be delivered during a time you will not be home, Canada Post allows you to set a delivery location preference of where you would like your package to be dropped off (i.e. front desk of an apartment building, side door, etc.).
In order to set delivery preferences, you will need the tracking number of your package sent through Canada Post. After this has been assigned, follow the instructions on Canada Post’s website. Once a package is dropped off in a safe-drop location, Canada Post will leave a safe-drop notification card informing you where your package was left. This is typically placed in your mailbox.
