Three Steps to Your Success

What attributes, skills and abilities do doTERRA Leaders have in common? What do the majority of them have that others may not? What are they doing “everyday” that makes them so successful?

Have you ever asked yourself those questions? After giving the questions great thought, I realized that every successful leader I know has three things in common.

They have a Clear Vision. They know what they want to achieve and why they want it.

They have an Unyielding Belief. They believe that they can attain their goals.  They believe in themselves regardless of how big or ridiculous their goals may sound to them or the rest of the world in the beginning.

These leaders also take the right level of action—Massive Action—to ensure they achieve their goals.

I believe anyone who correctly applies these three simple steps in their life can reach their full potential.

Clear Vision

The author Napoleon Hill said, “There is one quality which one must possess to win, and that is definiteness in purpose, the knowledge of what one wants, and a burning desire to possess it.”

You’ve got to figure out what it is that you want and why you want it.

Whatever your purpose or goals, the vision is the first step to your success. I would bet that most every successful leader you know here at doTERRA had a vision and saw what they wanted in their mind before they achieved it.

Once you know what your mission is, you’ve got to believe that you can achieve it.

Unyielding Belief

Are your beliefs limiting your true potential?  Do you look in the mirror and think “I can” or do you think “I can’t”? Robert Anthony has said, “You can have anything you want if you are willing to give up the belief that you can’t have it.”

Growing up, most of us had big dreams and aspirations. Some of us wanted to be professional athletes, track stars, Olympians, or successful entrepreneurs. However, what tends to happen when we grow up and start telling people what our goals and dreams are, is that many tell us what we can and can’t do. Unfortunately, the people that are telling us what we can’t accomplish are often the people that we love and appreciate the most, so it can be difficult.  What we need to do is choose what and who we give attention to.  Are we going to believe someone who tells us what we can’t accomplish or are we going to listen to our hearts? Listen to the voices that believe in you, including your own.

I believe in you; I believe that you can live a life without limits.

Massive Action

Having a clear vision and unyielding belief means little without the right level of action. The right level of action is Massive Action

“Thoughts lead to feelings. Feelings lead to actions. Actions lead to results.”

In this quote by T. Harv Eker, there’s a Bridge between feelings and results and that bridge is action. Unfortunately, that’s where the majority of people fail.  Most people underestimate how much action they have to take to realize their goals and reach their full potential.

I would invite you to ask leaders who you admire, those that are where you want to be, what their day looks like. I would venture to bet that there’s not much white space in their calendar. I would imagine their calendar is full of the income producing activities that are going to continue to take their business to the next level.

(Hint: Those activities can be found in the Empowered Success guides on doterra.com)

I challenge you to spend time thinking about what you really want from doTERRA. Write down your goals, determine your “massive” course of action, and then do it.
