30 Days of Giving and Mindfulness

Service and Gift Ideas

While we encourage you to come up with giving and serving ideas of your own that will be meaningful to you, here are some ideas to get you started:

  1. Add a doTERRA Healing Hands® donation to your monthly order, or donate to your favorite charity or cause. (Even a $1 donation can go a long way.)
  2. Donate food, toys, or books to a local shelter. Clean used toys and books with doTERRA On Guard® Cleaner Concentrate.
  3. Smile at everyone you see and greet people by name if you know them for a whole day.
  4. Give a secret gift.
  5. Make a phone call to talk to someone who comes to mind.
  6. Put coins in someone else's parking meter.
  7. Clean up any litter that you see.
  8. Send anonymous flowers. Keep them fresh with a few drops of Purify oil in the water.
  9. Leave a friendly note in a public library book.
  10. Make someone a meal. Check out the recipes section on our product blog for inspiration!
  11. Walk dogs at a local animal shelter.
  12. Shovel snow for your neighbors.
  13. Babysit for a neighbor for free.
  14. Send someone a thoughtful text.
  15. Donate blood or, if you can’t donate, volunteer to help with a blood drive.
  16. Leave a nice comment on someone’s post.
  17. Give an AromaTouch® Hand Technique massage at a local retirement home.
  18. Send someone a handwritten letter.
  19. Volunteer at a soup kitchen.
  20. Let someone go in front of you in line or in traffic.
  21. Write or send a care package to the troops.
  22. Express your gratitude to your local policeman or firefighters.
  23. Make someone laugh.
  24. Give gloves to your local homeless shelter.
  25. Purchase a doTERRA® SPA Rose Lotion or doTERRA Hope® Touch oil. 100 percent of these funds go to help doTERRA Healing Hands projects all over the world.
  26. Leave a thank you card in your mail box for your mail carrier.
  27. Pay for someone else’s meal at a restaurant.
  28. Take some time to serve a family member—do a chore they always do, or leave them an encouraging note.
  29. Help someone else shine. Acknowledge their success or talents, back their ideas.
  30. Do research online to find places to volunteer. Websites like https://www.volunteermatch.org/ make this easy.

We would love to hear about your experiences with this challenge! As you go through the month of December, leave us a comment here about what changes or impact you saw in your life or in the lives of those around you.
