Points Questions

Where can I see my points?
You can view your points and progress on your Incentive Trip Dashboard.

View Points

Do I have to live in the United States or Canada to participate?
Yes. To qualify for the 2023 Incentive Trip, you must live in the US or Canada.

To earn points from my personally-enrolled leaders, do they need to live in the US or Canada?
You will earn points from personally-enrolled leaders who live in the US or Canada.

How do I earn points?
Like US Founders Club 2.0, there are two main categories for earning points: Personal Points and Team Points. Personal points are your enrollments and their second and third month of 100+ PV LRP, and your personal rank advancements. Team points are for your personally-enrolled leader’s rank advancements, first time earning Power of 3 $250, and first time earning the Empowerment Bonus.

When will my Incentive Trip dashboard be updated?
Points from enrollments and LRP are updated on the Dashboard within six hours. All other points will be updated after the commission run for each month, usually around the twentieth of the month.

When can I start earning points?
Points will begin accruing on March 1, 2022. No points for Incentive Trip will be added for achievements made after August 31, 2022.

If I am participating in US Founders Club 2.0, will points I’ve earned carry over to the Incentive Trip?
Points for the 2023 Incentive Trip will only be earned after March 1, 2022. However, if you are in the US and you earned first time points before March 1, 2022, you will earn the second and/or third points if you meet the qualifications to earn those points after March 1.

If my personal enrollee reactivates their account, or upgrades from a Wholesale Customer to a Wellness Advocate, do I earn enrollment points?
In order to earn enrollment points for Incentive Trip 2023, the enrollment must be a brand-new enrollment. Reactivations and upgrades will not earn points. However, if those same enrollees rank advance, earn the Power of 3 ($250) bonus for the first time, or the Empowerment Bonus for the first time, you will earn points for those achievements.

Can I earn points if I get back to my highest achieved rank?
Like Founders Club 2.0, if you return to a rank you have not hit since October 31, 2019, you will be eligible to earn half the points that you would normally receive. This same rule applies to your personally-enrolled leaders who achieve a rank they have not been paid at since October 31, 2019. This applies to both US and Canada.

Is there an end date for the 2023 Incentive Trip qualification period?
Yes, the end date of the Incentive Trip qualification period is August 31, 2022.

If I need to give enrollership up to someone in my structure who is trying to move up in rank, would I lose the points I had previously received associated with that enrollment?
No, you will earn rank advancement points for the months you maintain enrollership and will not lose those points after you have earned points for the month. For example, if someone you have enrollership of achieves a new rank in June and you maintain enrollership through the commission run for June commissions, you will get the points for that month. If you give up the enrollership in August, the new enroller will earn the points for when the account re-hits that rank for the second and third time. This also applies to the Power of 3 $250 and Empowerment Bonus points.

To keep the points that I have earned for Jamaica 2022 Incentive Trip, how long do I need to maintain enrollership?
Each month after the Commission Run is finalized, doTERRA will freeze points for Incentive Trip participants for the previous month. For example, any points earned in June will be awarded in the July 15 commission run and will not be taken away after that commission run. After the points are frozen, you can change enrollership as needed without risk of losing points. Keep in mind that the new enroller will earn points for any second and/or third time achievements for rank, LRP orders, $250 Power of 3, or Empowerment Bonus that have not yet been awarded points.

Can I earn points if a Gold I enrolled achieves the Empowerment Bonus?
Yes, if one of your personally-enrolled leaders who is Gold rank in the US qualifies for the Empowerment Bonus for the first time, you will receive points. However, if they earned the Empowerment Bonus as a Silver before hitting Gold, you will not receive points for the Empowerment Bonus.

I am a Wholesale Customer; can I participate in the Jamaica 2022 Incentive Trip?
You will need to be a Wellness Advocate in order to enroll people, rank advance, and earn commissions. If you are a Wholesale Customer living in the United States or Canada and you would like to participate in 2023 Incentive Trip, you can upgrade your account to become a Wellness Advocate. You can upgrade your account online or call Member Services.

If I or one of my personal enrollee's rank advances one month, but declines in rank the next, will I lose points?
No, once you have earned points for their rank advancement you will not lose points. You will receive more points once they hit that rank again for a second and third time.

Can M1 accounts qualify?
Yes, if you are a Presidential Diamond with an M1 account, the points will be combined for both of your accounts.

Does my personal enrollee need to have 90% of their Organizational Volume (OV) in the US or Canada for me to earn points from their rank advancements?
At least 90% of your total Qualifying Volume for your personal enrollee’s rank achievement and bonuses must be in your market (either the United States or Canada). For example, if you are a Canadian Wellness Advocate, that means 90% of your Qualifying Volume needs to come from Canada. That volume calculation will be at the Executive/Elite level.

If I receive a Placements exception, will that affect my points?
Yes, if an exception is approved it may affect the points. The Placements Team and Exceptions Committee will handle these situations on a case-by-case basis.

When there is an Account Transfer, does the person who transferred into the account inherit the transferor's points?
If someone transfers into a position, they do not inherit any points that had been earned by the previous account holder or any second or third time points. However, they will earn points for new achievements made after the transfer. For example, if Amanda transferred into a position that just achieved Elite for the first time, she will earn points after she rank advances to Premier.

How do Account Transfers affect team rank advancement points for the enroller?
After an Account Transfer, the enroller does not earn points until the transferee advances beyond the rank they were transferred into. For example, if Bonnie transferred into a Premier position, the enroller will not receive team rank advancement points for Bonnie until she advances to Silver.

What is the minimum and maximum point requirement for the 2023 Incentive Trip?
Unlike Founders 2.0, there are no minimum or maximum points requirements for Personal or Team points. However, to qualify for Incentive trip, 125 points must be earned.

What points will I see starting March 1, 2021?
Points earned from enrollments and qualifying loyalty orders will update on the dashboard every six hours. Team points and your personal rank advancements will not show on the dashboard until the month’s commissions have been finalized around the twentieth of the following month.

Travel Questions

Will plans change for the Incentive Trip as COVID-19 regulations change?
Regulations frequently change during these unique times. We’ll do our best to keep you informed on any regulations from the hotel, local area, or the United States or Canadian governments. However, you’re responsible for knowing and abiding by the regulations for both the trip and your home region. As always, we strongly recommend purchasing flight insurance to ensure options for refunds are available to you if plans change.

What should I know about COVID-19?
For the most up-to-date information concerning COVID-19, please visit the following websites:

When should I arrive at the airport?
Recommended international check-in time is at least three hours prior to departure (depending on Homeland Security threat level). Please call the airline or access the airline’s website to check for schedule changes or flight delays and reconfirm recommended check-in time prior to leaving for the airport.

What should I pack?
Pack light, comfortable clothing—including walking shorts, capri-style pants, light trousers, short-sleeved shirts, and dresses. Make sure you pack a pair of comfortable sandals or shoes. Don’t forget a swimsuit, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Bring a sweater or wrap for cooler evenings.

How much luggage can I take?
Most carriers now charge a fee for checked luggage. In general, you’ll be allowed up to two checked bags for a fee and one carry-on bag free of charge that must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you. Please check with your airline to confirm current luggage limitations and any applicable fees. Please don’t pack valuables or things you’ll need within the next 24 hours in your checked luggage. Such items include (but aren’t limited to) your passport, credit cards and cash, laptop, camera, cell phone, jewelry, glasses, contact lenses and solution (note size limits), and medication. Please be sure your bags are checked through to your final destination.

What items can I carry on?
For an up-to-date list of items banned from carry-on luggage and what you can carry on, please visit https://www.tsa.gov/.

Should I lock my checked luggage?
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) may need to open your checked bags to perform random security screenings. If your bags are locked, TSA agents will break the locks during the screening process and won’t assume liability for any damage this may cause. TSA-recognized locks—which can be opened by TSA using tools provided by luggage-industry members—help prevent the need to break locks. However, TSA-recognized locks are still occasionally broken during the screening process. If you want to guarantee your checked bags aren’t forced open, leave them unlocked, but ensure you carry all documentation and valuables with you.

What will the weather be like?
Expect highs up to 85°F during the day and lows around 68°F in the evening.

What’s the electrical voltage?

  • Standard voltage is 110 volts in Jamaica.
  • Hotels usually offer voltage converters for 220-volt devices. Many sockets don’t accept polarized or three-prong plugs, so we recommend you bring your own adapter.

Can I drink the water?
Clean drinking water will be provided at the hotel.

What about safety?

  • Tourist areas are usually safe, but visitors should always stay alert. Generally, you can feel safe in areas where there are many people and open establishments.
  • If you rent a car, park in well-lit, well-traveled areas, if possible. Never leave any packages or valuables visible in the car.
  • Please don’t leave cash, jewelry, credit cards, or other valuables unattended in your hotel room or on the beach. The hotel has safe deposit facilities for your valuables. Be particularly careful with cameras, purses, and wallets.
  • Use the same common sense while travelling you would at home.
  • Be cautious swimming in the ocean. The ocean may look calm, but currents—unlike high surf—are difficult to spot. Please be careful when entering the ocean at any time.
  • To ensure your safety in the water and on the beach, follow these guidelines:
    • Choose a beach with a lifeguard.
    • Pay attention to warning signs.
    • Don’t swim at remote beaches.
    • Never turn your back to the ocean.
    • When in doubt, don’t go out.

What’s not included that I can expect to pay for?
All personal travel expenses—such as activities you book on your own, phone calls, and dry-cleaning or laundry services—are your responsibility and must be paid for upon checkout.

How can I be contacted?
For your convenience, a leave-behind card with your hotel’s contact information will be included in your documents.
