dōTERRA Healing Hands™ Lesvos Refugee Crisis

The Refugee Crisis in Lesvos is heartbreaking. Over 14,000 refugees are "living" on the Greek Island at the Moria Refugee Camp, a site initially designed to accommodate 3000 people. Overcrowding has caused living conditions to drastically deteriorate. Refugees live in an unsafe and traumatic environment, in dire need of basic essentials such as food, clothes and cleaning facilities.

One of the most affected groups are pregnant women and unaccompanied minors. Pregnant women do not have proper medical attention and female hygiene products, nappies, babies' clothes and even feeding bottles are scarce. The uncertainty of their lives and the lives of their unborn children is a reality that no parent should have to face.

Their journey to the island is as perilous as the conditions they face on arrival. Dangerous, damaged and overcrowded boats, unpredictable weather conditions and unscrupulous smugglers, create a harrowing and upsetting situation for people who are already physically and mentally vulnerable.

Now you can help us to help them heal

doTERRA has set up a matching campaign to allow us to fund key relief initiatives, with a special focus on a centre for pre- and post-natal care. This is a vital step for the wellbeing of the 2000+ babies and 700 pregnant women in the Moria Refugee Camp.

For any donations received, doTERRA will match up to €25,000. Every donation will help shape the future of the refugees and together, we can make this project a reality.

doTERRA Healing Hands is also continuing to support partners who work tirelessly to bring relief to refugees, helping them acquire food resources and provide a stable environment under such distressing circumstances.
