DIY Winter Wax Candle with Northern Escape Oil and Siberian Fir Oil

When winter weather gets dreary, we all could use a little extra light to brighten our hearts and homes. This recipe for an easy do it yourself scented candle brings the best of merry and bright to your home by filling any room with the fresh, peaceful winter aromas of evergreen forests—all thanks to the inclusion of Northern Escape essential oil blend and Siberian Fir essential oil.

SUPPLIES Tip: Double or triple this recipe as desired for a larger, longer burning candle.

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Melt the solids (soy wax, beeswax, and solid coconut oil) in a stove-top double boiler.
  2. When the mixture has fully melted, remove from the heat. Stir in essential oils and mix for 30 seconds until evenly combined.
  3. Dip the bottom of the candle wick into the melted wax and use this to stick the wick to the bottom of the container.
  4. Prop wick upright and pour the rest of the wax into the container.
  5. Allow the wax to cool completely. Trim the wick to ¼ inch height above the wax and light to strike the perfect holiday mood!

CLOSING STATEMENT
When you light this homemade candle, enjoy the flicker of brightness the gentle flame brings to your home. All the while, let the winter aromas of Northern Escape oil and Siberian Fir oil take you on a scented journey through holiday forests, no matter how frightful the weather is outside!
