Apricot Cinnamon Porridge


A creamy and indulgent porridge with dried apricots and honey, perfect for a cold winter's day.
 

Servings: 4
 

Ingredients
3½ cups milk or non-dairy milk
1½ cups water
2½ cups quick cooking rolled oats
1 drop of Cinnamon Bark essential oil 
1/3 cup chopped dried apricots
Chopped almonds
1 tsp of honey/ rice malt syrup
 

Instructions

  1. Combine the water, milk, oats & apricots in a saucepan and bring to the boil over medium-high heat. 
  2. Reduce heat to medium and cook, stirring often, for 5 minutes or until thick and creamy. Add Cinnamon essential oil, stir and serve into bowls. 
  3. Top with chopped almonds and a drizzle of honey.
