Why should I add Spikenard essential oil to my collection? Like Vetiver oil, Turmeric oil, Ginger oil, and other root essential oils, Spikenard essential oil has musty undertones that give it an overall grounding aroma. While Spikenard oil still holds light, invigorating aromatic constituents like these root essential oils, it also has a more soothing, relaxing aromatic undertone than many of its peers. Additionally, Spikenard essential oil provides a uniquely soothing, softening, and gentle skin-cleansing effect to the skin, making it an ideal addition to skincare routines.

Uses

Cosmetic

• Use one drop Spikenard oil combined with Fractionated Coconut Oil for a relaxing, grounding aroma during an abdominal massage.
• Add two to three drops Spikenard oil to a warm footbath for an uplifting aroma and supportive cleansing properties.
• Add one drop Spikenard oil to shampoo and massage into hair and scalp to support a healthy looking scalp.
• Combine one drop Spikenard oil with morning or nightly moisturizer to help smooth and soften skin.
• Apply one drop Spikenard oil to fingernails and toenails to keep them looking clean and healthy.
• Apply one to two drops Spikenard oil to the back of neck or temples for a relaxing scent.

Household

• Diffuse three to four drops Spikenard oil for a calming, grounding aroma.

Directions for Use

Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.
Topical use: Apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with a carrier oil to minimize any skin sensitivity.
