The Pleasant Grove Chamber of Commerce presented six annual awards at its 2015 Kickoff Celebration and Awards Banquet at the Stone Gate Center for the Arts on Jan. 8. Chamber Executive Director David Larson gave a State of the Chamber presentation followed by the presentation of the awards.1
Award winners included Stone Gate Center for the Arts, Business of the Year; Melissa Carbajal of De Blakeland Consulting, Business Person of the Year; Cravings Bistro, New Business of the Year; doTERRA, Mayor’s Award; Lisa Robinson of Grovecrest Elementary, Educator of the Year; and Dianna Andersen, Community Service Award.
Many wonderful businesses were nominated for the annual chamber awards. The finalists were determined by a panel of judges who wished to recognize the "best of the best" for outstanding achievement and excellence that sets them apart. These individuals and businesses have dedicated countless hours to making the community better.
