Vanilla Bath Salts

After a long busy day, nothing sounds more inviting than a warm bath using Madagascar Vanilla infused bath salts. The sweet, calming aroma of Madagascar Vanilla complements most of your favourite essential oils or oil blends to help create an aromatically relaxing environment as you soak. Get creative and make your own personalized signature scent and enjoy a soothing bath with Madagascar Vanilla.

Supplies

  • 1 cup Epsom salt
  • ½ cup Pink Himalayan salt
  • 2 ½ tablespoons baking soda (optional)
  • 5 drops Madagascar Vanilla essential oil
  • 5 drops of your favourite essential oil or oil blend

Recommended scents: Wild Orange oil, Bergamot oil, Sandalwood oil, Lavender oil, or Balance oil.

Instructions

  1. Combine Epsom salt, Pink Himalayan salt, and baking soda in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Add Madagascar Vanilla essential oil and other desired oils and mix until combined.
  3. Add ¼-½ cup of your bath salts to a warm tub of water and enjoy an aromatically relaxing bath.
  4. Store in container of choice.

Vanilla Scented Candles

Vanilla scented candles are a timeless classic that can add a warm, rich ambiance to your living space. These DIY candles are super simple to make and are the perfect way to enjoy the calming, comforting aroma of Madagascar Vanilla in any room you light them in.

Supplies

  • 6 tablespoons soy wax
  • 2 tablespoon beeswax
  • 2 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 5 drops Madagascar Vanilla essential oil
  • 1 wick
  • Small glass jar or container of your choice

Instructions

  1. Melt the solids (soy wax, beeswax, and solid coconut oil) in a stove-top double boiler.
  2. When the mixture has fully melted, remove from heat. Stir in Madagascar Vanilla essential oil blend and mix for 30 seconds until evenly combined.
  3. Dip the bottom of the candle wick into the melted wax and use this to stick the wick to the bottom of the container.
  4. Prop the wick upright and pour the rest of the wax into the container.
  5. Allow the wax to cool completely. Trim the wick to ¼ inch height above the wax and enjoy your homemade candle.

Vanilla Solid Perfume

The timelessly sweet aroma of Madagascar Vanilla is the ideal base scent for your own solid perfume. Whether you’re spending a cozy day inside or venturing out for an evening in town, this simple yet rich fragrance will provide a captivating aroma that you’ll want to wear again and again.

Supplies

  • 2 tablespoons beeswax
  • 1 tablespoon Fractionated Coconut Oil
  • 10-15 drops Madagascar Vanilla essential oil
  • 1-2 glass or lidded container

Instructions

  1. Add the beeswax and Fractionated Coconut Oil to a glass jar.
  2. Place the jar in a saucepan with approximately one inch of boiling water.
  3. Stir the ingredients until combined (5–10 minutes).
  4. Once melted, remove from heat and it let rest for three minutes.
  5. Add the Madagascar Vanilla essential oil and stir.
  6. Pour the mixture into your chosen container of choice.
  7. Apply a small amount to your skin for a lovely, personal fragrance.
