Class Ideas from A to Z: Nutrition Night

Everyone loves food, and there’s no better way to get people to your class than to offer healthy snacks that will also teach them about essential oils.

Before you plan your class read up on nutrition to find what you want to focus on. Here are some articles and a webinar from doTERRA about healthy eating that you can use to guide your class:

You Are What You Eat

Pick your favorite highlights from each, and talk about them with your attendees. This way you can show how doTERRA is about improving your health not just by using essential oils, but by changing your lifestyle. You can also do additional research online about reading nutrition facts on food labels and creating healthy meal plans. If you or your team know anyone that is a nutritionist or even just into eating well, you could also invite them to come and share what they know and give tips.

Most importantly, you can make and eat delicious healthy food as part of the class. The doTERRA product blog has many healthy recipes that you can make with essential oils. Whatever recipes you choose, be sure to explain why each is a healthy snack or dish based on what the ingredients do. Especially remember to explain the benefits of the essential oils that you are including. Here are some of our favorites:

  1. Wild Orange Power Bites
  2. Cinnamon Apple Chips
  3. Cinnamon PB and Granola Sandwich
  4. Raw Rainbow Salad with Fresh Tomato-Basil Dressing
  5. Rosemary Lemon Hummus

Other ideas:

  1. Choose your favorite Greek yogurt and pour into a frosting bag. Dot along the baking sheet with parchment paper and freeze. Voila! You have healthy yogurt bites.
  2. Fill raspberries with some vanilla yogurt mixed with an essential oil of your choice.

Now that your class attendees will have enjoyed the flavors and know some of the benefits of essential oils, they will certainly be eager to learn more.
