Origin: a Latin derivative

KidsCan is a leading New Zealand charity dedicated to helping Kiwi kids affected by poverty, helping children experiencing hardship by providing food, jackets, shoes and health products to schools/kura and early childhood centres/ kōhanga across New Zealand. With these essentials, kids can participate in learning and have the opportunity for a better future.
Following severe flooding and devastation from Cyclone Gabrielle, in March KidsCan launched a 15forfloods appeal to help the worst-affected communities in Auckland, Hawke’s Bay and Tairāwhiti.
Thanks to the generosity of individual and business supporters, including a $25,000 donation from the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation AUNZ, KidsCan reached their $1.5 million target. With these funds they have provided the following so far - and they are not stopping here!
KidsCan also supplied 25 families in Auckland with beds, bedding, whiteware, furniture and other household essentials to replace lost items.
This is what has been achieved to date, but KidsCan plan to be there for the long haul as communities rebuild in the months and years ahead.
