dōTERRA AUNZ & dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation US donates over $35,000 to FNPW Bushfire Recovery Nurseries project

It’s been almost a year now since Australia was ravaged by catastrophic bushfires that devastated communities and destroyed wildlife populations.

Heartbroken by the unprecedented calamity, doTERRA Australia and New Zealand, and doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation Australia and New Zealand, combined to donate more than $200,000 dollars to various bushfire appeals, including the Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife, a non-government organisation dedicated to the safeguarding of Australian wilderness and wildlife.

More recently, FNPW started a Bushfire Recovery Nurseries project, with the objective of replanting one million trees to help restore the habitat of Koalas and other native wildlife in bushfire affected areas. And to help support this cause, doTERRA Australia and New Zealand decided to donate one dollar from the sale of every Koala Diffuser as part of our 2020 Gift Giving Guide.

The response to this campaign was overwhelming – we sold over 17,000 of these little diffusers in just a handful of days! But true to the spirit of the season, we’d now like to announce something even more exciting: this amount will be matched by doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation in the US! This means we will donate over $35,000 dollars to the FNPW Bushfire Recovery Nurseries project.

doTERRA Australia and New Zealand is committed to working with our Wellness Advocate family to help bushfire affected communities recover and rebuild their lives – including those of our beloved Koalas.
