Herbed Biscuit

The doTERRA® Italian Flavour blend features Olive Oil infused with Thyme, Rosemary, Basil, Marjoram, and Oregano essential oils which makes it the perfect addition to this Herbed Biscuit.

Serves: 12 Biscuits

4 cups flour
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
½ cup buttermilk
225g butter or substitute 
1 drop doTERRA® Italian Flavour Blend


  1. Preheat your oven to 180 °C and grease a baking sheet.
  2. Stir together the flour, salt, baking powder, buttermilk, melted butter, and doTERRA® Italian Flavour Blend until it all comes together, forming a dough. Mix until the dough doesn’t stick to the bowl. 
  3. Cover the dough and allow to rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Roll out the dough into a long, 2cm-thick rectangle and cut into 12 triangles. Place triangles on the baking sheet and allow to rest in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  5. Bake until the biscuits turn golden brown.
