The doTERRA® Italian Flavour blend features Olive Oil infused with Thyme, Rosemary, Basil, Marjoram, and Oregano essential oils which makes it the perfect addition to this Herbed Biscuit.
Serves: 12 Biscuits
4 cups flour
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
½ cup buttermilk
225g butter or substitute
1 drop doTERRA® Italian Flavour Blend
- Preheat your oven to 180 °C and grease a baking sheet.
- Stir together the flour, salt, baking powder, buttermilk, melted butter, and doTERRA® Italian Flavour Blend until it all comes together, forming a dough. Mix until the dough doesn’t stick to the bowl.
- Cover the dough and allow to rest for 10 minutes.
- Roll out the dough into a long, 2cm-thick rectangle and cut into 12 triangles. Place triangles on the baking sheet and allow to rest in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
- Bake until the biscuits turn golden brown.
