It’s that time of year to set resolutions for the New Year. Setting goals is a great way to learn new things and accomplish something you set your mind to. The goals you set can be simple, like running a certain amount of doTERRA classes to bigger goals such as participating in Diamond Club. Whether the goals you set are simple or more advanced, going through the process of setting a goal and working to achieve it will benefit you. Here are some tips you can follow to help you set your goals for the new year:
- Review - Before you dive into setting your New Year goals, think about what you have achieved over the past year to see how you’ve changed and grown. As you look over the past 12 months, think about the accomplishments you are most proud of, the new things you learned and be honest about your own well-being. Finally, consider what didn’t go right, and what you learned from any challenges. Give yourself credit for any risks you took, large or small.
- What do you want to achieve? – Goals that you set that you know you will follow through on, are goals that you have a strong emotional connection to. You are passionate about them and have a desire to achieve them. Ultimately, to figure out what inspires you, write out a list of possible goals and once you’re finished, go back over your list and circle the ones you would like to focus on.

- Make your goals a reality - Planning out your next steps is the hardest part of this process, but absolutely essential to success. If you have a goal to enrol a certain number of people every month, plan out what needs to happen to enable you to meet that goal. Talk to your upline as they have been in your shoes and might be able to provide you with some useful information. Voicing out your goals is a great first step towards achieving your goals.
- Go forward with the right tools - Come up with a way to monitor and update your goals throughout the year. It’s a great idea to review them periodically every few months. You can remember to do this by setting reminders in your phone or set up another system to keep yourself accountable to someone else, and have them check in with you. Finally, consider that essential oils can help you on this journey. While no oil is going to be the magic super-power to make you achieve your goals, they certainly can help you get in the right frame of mind.
