Using Wild Orange & Peppermint on the back

Maintaining contact with the recipient, perform the following movements in order, starting with the Oil Introduction.

1 Oil Introduction

The Oil Introduction prepares the recipient to receive the oil while putting them into a state of relaxation.

2 Alternating Palm Slide

This motion is perpendicular to the spine and both hands remain parallel to each other and do not contour with the body. The smooth and repetitive movement makes the recipient feel calm and relaxed as you connect through the movement.

3 Three Clockwise Palm Circles

Starting and ending the AromaTouch Technique with the 3 Clockwise Palm Circles helps to establish positive touch, allows the recipient to relax, and helps their body return to a balanced state.

Using Wild Orange & Peppermint on the feet

Maintaining contact with the recipient, perform the following movements in order, starting with the Oil Introduction.

1 Oil Introduction

The Oil Introduction prepares the recipient to receive the oil while putting them into a state of relaxation.

2 Regional Tissue Pull

The Regional Tissue Pull is the first movement performed on the feet. It stimulates and increases the absorption rate of the skin. It also helps to establish a rhythm and aid in the transition from the back to the feet. Using the zigzag motion when performing the movement is important to ensure maximum coverage on the feet.

3 PinPoint Zone Activation

PinPoint Zone Activation creates balance across all five zones of the body through pinpoint pressure applied through the thumbs. Take the time to work methodically through each zone as this movement can produce the powerful benefits that we aim to achieve through the technique.

4 Five Zone Tissue Pull

The Five Zone Tissue Pull is the last movement on the feet. As you pull through each zone, be sure to maintain contact from the heel through the front of the foot. The motion creates a feeling of completeness as you finish the movements on the feet and return to the back.

Repeat steps 1-4 on the other foot.
