In December 2013. I was in a job that I loved, a non-profit for emergency services for children at Vanderbilt University. But there was this ugly glass ceiling looking straight at me, nowhere to go up- at the young age of 25. My parents and my husband would ask me the same question, "What do you want to do with your passion?" For once in my life I felt hopeless, I had this great Business Communications degree, a background in design and a heart for healthy living---but nowhere to apply it.
That year I had been plagued with numerous health issues involving my digestive and endocrine systems. To the extent of being admitted to the ER, having large bills as newlyweds, and being worried everyday that my symptoms would reoccur to the point of debilitation and not being about to attend social events.
My mother discovered doTERRA as a tool to help with debilitating back pain. Through divine intervention- a sorority sister of mine, Kristen Pardue a registered dietician introduced her to doTERRA and the rest is history. I ask myself many time now, "What would I do without these oils". I have become a healer in my household. And quickly I learned what I would do for the rest of my life. Empower other women to do the same.
The world NEEDS healed people, those healed people then go on to help heal the world.
