There are several driving factors behind doTERRA's decisions to reformulate products. These include discovering more potent botanical extracts that enable more beneficial formulas, transitioning to better, reliable and sustainable supply chains and responding to changes in ingredient availability and regulations. All these factors determine the overall chemistry and aroma as products are reformulated. Though ingredients may shift, doTERRA maintains the original blend and product names if the key benefits are unchanged. Significant research, development and testing is done to achieve optimal new formulas, with input from surveys and professional perfumers. This collaboration allows us to deliver unique fragrance profiles, whilst maintaining efficacy. Our goal will continue to be providing the highest quality essential oils and products that are fit for purpose, and establishing long-lasting sourcing partnerships that help provide the same beloved products for a lifetime.

 
 

We are always working with our partners to innovate and deliver the highest quality and most powerful botanicals. As a result, we introduced

a new, but equally effective source of Vanilla Absolute directly from our Cō-Impact Sourcing™ network. This new source is known as a Vanilla Supercritical Fluid Extract (SFE) Absolute. It creates deeper, more complex aromas that are highly authentic to the plant material. While equally effective, this new extract adds subtle enhancing notes ideal for blends and aromas used as perfumes. This subtle but enhancing component is being incorporated into every doTERRA blend globally that contains Vanilla, to create the best essential oil experiences and further our impact on worldwide communities, complete with the same benefits you know and trust. Our dedicated growers, harvesters and distillers are supported in the process. It's important to note that as we continue to adapt our methods and ingredients, the scent of Vanilla may change when combined with other components to refine blends. In addition to vanilla, overall blend aromas may also evolve; however, we will always strive to stay true to the purpose of the blend and provide you with the best essential oil experience as we discover and innovate more beneficial ingredients.

Deep Blue™ Soothing Blend is one of our most popular products and is widely recognised for

its unique properties. To improve on this blend, we added Rosemary from Spain, which is high in camphor, along with Japanese Mint, Star Anise, Peppermint and Tea Tree. Together, these ingredients cool the skin. We also added Copaiba and Bergamot Mint to support healthy-looking skin, and to soothe and calm when applied topically, building on this blend's loved properties. The improved formula underwent rigorous efficacy tests and was found to perform even better than the previous blend. In addition, this updated formula complies with new EU regulations regarding the concentration of Wintergreen essential oil, a component in all Deep Blue products. To ensure you enjoy the benefits of this updated blend, we decided to implement the new formulation across the whole Deep Blue range, so you can continue relying on this soothing blend in a variety of powerful, everyday formats.

Specialising in vitality-promoting properties, each supplement was reformulated as we adapt to ever-changing EU regulations and continues to feature an even wider array of benefits.

Alpha CRS™+

Reformulated in keeping with evolving EU regulations, Alpha CRS™+ is now made with Artichoke Leaf Extract in place of Milk Thistle Seed Extract. Enjoy an expanded range of botanical benefits* for the formula, including Scutellaria Baicalensis Powder Extract, Green Tea Leaf Extract and Grape Seed Extract.

Microplex VMz™

Reformulated in keeping with evolving EU regulations, Microplex VMz™ is now developed with a vegan-friendly source of vitamin D. Several benefits for key botanical ingredients are available, such as Vitamin A (Retinol), Calcium (Ca), Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), Magnesium (Mg), Vitamin E (Tocopherols) and many more benefits* to promote.

xEO Mega™

Formulated with Grape Seed Oil and Echium Seed Oil, featuring more benefits* for vitamin D and A, and omega fatty acids. Providing nutrients to the body, as well as promoting skin and joint health, enjoy, share and promote these amazing properties of xEO Mega™.
