From April to June, donations to the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation® will support projects like educating and empowering women and children in Nyabihu District, Rwanda—near where doTERRA sources Eucalyptus globulus—one of the species used in our Eucalyptus essential oil blend.
Many of the families in this region face significant challenges, including poverty and limited access to early childhood education. For many children, this means lack of proper nutrition, learning opportunities, and the care they need to thrive. Meanwhile, mothers in the region are often in need of income-generating skills that can help them build a path to independence and security for themselves and their families.
Your donations help support their futures through early childhood development and women’s empowerment programs. These programs will ensure over 250 children receive the early childhood education they need, along with adequate nutrition and proper hygiene support. Also, over 100 mothers will learn skills to generate income and improve the well-being of their families.
This will benefit women like Rosine, who became a single mother at a young age. Through the sewing skills she’s learning at the vocational training center, she will be better equipped to support herself and her child. Those skills give her greater hope for the future.
