Through my travels abroad I have learned from many cultures about food, love and the amazing ability our bodies have to heal. I began my journey in a hospital studying to receive a Bachelor's of Science in Medical Imaging, followed by a teaching degree in Secondary Education-Biology, and finally a Master's of Science in Educational Development and Strategies. My personal struggles with autoimmune disease inspired me to educate and guide others in changing the way they live, think, and experience life. I was SICK of dealing with chronic fatigue, weight gain, and hormone imbalances! I was tired of vague diagnosis and no real answers! After studying abroad at the University of Edinburgh Scotland, I was able to look outside of the box and understand a proactive approach to healthcare. This allowed me to heal my body through a combination of Eastern & Western medicine, essential oils, and "real" food. After returning home, I became passionate about helping bring more awareness to the power of healing your body, mind, and soul. After studying health, nutrition, and fitness for over fifteen years, one thing is clear: the roles of nutritious food, a balance lifestyle, and a positive mindset are keys to overall health!
