Jana is a Florida native and earned her undergraduate Nursing degree at the University of Florida. She worked as a Labor & Delivery nurse before moving to Seattle to attend graduate school at the University of Washington. There she started her Nurse Practitioner career as a Certified Woman's Health NP. Jana took a sabbatical from the healthcare field to raise her two boys. When it was time to return to the workplace, she chose to start a business focused on natural health care products, including essential oils. ​ In her second year Jana achieved the dōTERRA™ rank of Diamond by focusing on personal relationships with her clients and her ability to explain the benefits of natural healthcare in a language clients could easily understand. Also crucial to Jana's success has been her ability to teach her team members how to grow their businesses and her capacity to help other associates develop themselves and their entrepreneurial spirit. In 2017, Jana went on to create The Expanded Life in response to her growing organization and pursuits to continue to passionately share these gifts of the earth with the world.
