Or it could be used to provide a child in India with a life changing education.
During doTERRA Convention 2025 | Shine, the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation announced a partnership with Rising Star Outreach to fund scholarships for 90 children from leprosy-affected communities. That’s 90 lives forever changed through education, safety, and hope.
For generations, families touched by leprosy in India have faced stigma and exclusion, even though the disease is curable. Many still live in segregated colonies, cut off from schools, jobs, and basic opportunities. Rising Star Outreach exists to change that narrative—restoring dignity and offering pathways to opportunity through education, medical care, and community development.
One of those pathways is a new residential school campus in Bihar, which will one day serve more than 600 students. Here, children receive nutritious meals, regular health checkups, and—most importantly—teachers that believe in them.
By donating $30, you can provide the funds needed for one student to attend the new Bihar campus for one month. A student like Kajal*, a bright young girl who loves science and dreams of becoming a doctor. While she’ll miss her pet goat and ducks when she moves to the new school, she’s excited for the science lab, the playground, and the new friends she’ll make. For Kajal and so many like her, this campus is more than a place to study. It’s a doorway to dignity, opportunity, and a future they get to choose for themselves.
