Red Mandarin contains 65–75 percent limonene in its composition. Limonene is a chemical component found in high concentrations in most citrus oils—it accounts for citrus oils’ cleansing and uplifting effects. However, Red Mandarin and Green Mandarin’s compositions also includes gamma-Terpinene (y-terpinene), which is found in Tea Tree (Melaleuca) and other purifying oils.
