dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation™ supports installation of playgrounds in Bulgarian community
When the Co-Impact Sourcing® project in Bulgaria was announced in 2016, the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation got to work supporting Bulgarian communities in need.
After the opening of the Esseterre distillery in Dobrich, Bulgaria, the Mayor of Dobrich received a letter from children in the community requesting a safe place for them to play. The Dobrich Municipality immediately began cleaning and leveling the terrain between some residential buildings a few blocks from Esseterre, and began drawing up plans for two children’s playgrounds.
The doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation has financially supported the building of these two playgrounds: one for ages 6 and younger, and the other for ages 3–12. Expenses related to the installation of these playgrounds include ground cover installation, concrete slabs, curbs, playground equipment, benches, waste bin installation, fences, lighting, and other supply and design costs.
