Slim & Sassy - Robert Perry

2015 SLIM & SASSY COMPETITION GRAND PRIZE WINNER

A Second Lease on Life

In the end, Robert surpassed his weight loss goal of 60 lbs. and has changed from the inside out. He clarifies, “This is the longest by far that I have attempted a diet. I have lost 20–30 lbs. a few times before with fad diets. This time was different. It truly has become a lifestyle change.” Many people have asked Robert how he was able to make such significant changes. He says, “I tell them that I cut out processed sugar and flour, I exercised, and I couldn’t have done it without the doTERRA® products that gave me the edge to stick to it.” For others on their journey to health, Robert adds, “You can do anything for a little while. Surprise yourself.”

How To Accelerate Your Progress

1. Involve doTERRA products—they really work.

2. Push yourself. The feeling of accomplishment far outweighs the feelings of loss.

3. Water. Water. Water. I drank about 1 ½–2 gallons of water each day.

4. Stay busy. If you have nothing to do, it’s better to be exercising.

5. Get rid of your fat clothes as soon as possible. Burn the bridges of retreat. I bought a new suit with the prize money that I could barely fit in to. It’s motivation to keep going.

6. Tell yourself often, “Never again will I look like that.”

7. Remember, someone out there wants you around as long as possible.

8. Everyone will be really happy for you and wish that they could do the same. The more of us that achieve success, the more people we can inspire
