dōTERRA’s Utah Manufacturing Plant Approved to Manufacture Therapeutic Products for the Australian market.

PLEASANT GROVE UTAH, APRIL 2020. doTERRA Manufacturing LLC, a leading global essential oil provider, has significantly built on its investment to the Australian market with its Utah-based manufacturing facility securing approval to manufacture therapeutic goods for the Australian market.

doTERRA’s manufacturing plant at the company’s headquarters in Pleasant Grove, Utah complies with the Good Manufacturing Practice requirements to sell therapeutic products into Australia. This means the plant has achieved the quality standard required to manufacture some therapeutic essential oil products for Australia. doTERRA manufactures all the essential oils supplied to the company’s markets worldwide in Utah.

The first oil to be listed with the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods is doTERRA Peppermint. For inhalation use only, doTERRA Peppermint :

  • Supports cognitive or mental function
  • Helps to reduce and relieve symptoms of mild head tension or headache
  • Is traditionally used in aromatherapy to relieve cough
  • Supports general health and wellbeing

Check the AUST L number is on the label. Always read the label and use only as directed.

Over time, other oils and products manufactured at the plant – including aromatic and topical applications – will also seek certification to manufacture therapeutic products for Australia.
