Child trafficking is the fastest growing criminal enterprise in the world.
A 2016 United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) global report revealed almost a third of all human trafficking victims worldwide are children. And whether as a country of origin, transit or destination for victims, almost every country in the world is affected by it.
Thursday 30th July has been designated as the World Day against Trafficking in Persons by member states of the United Nations. And in order to help support this global initiative, doTERRA Australia and New Zealand will match all proceeds from sales of doTERRA HopeTM oil received by doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation Australia and New ZealandTM from July 30th to August 6th and donate them to Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.).
O.U.R. is an organisation that paves the way for permanent eradication of child sex trafficking through coordinated rescue and recovery planning. Proceeds from the sale of doTERRA HopeTM oil will help fund more aftercare programs and rescue missions as well as raise awareness of the child trafficking issue.
