dōTERRA™ International hosts Sleep Awareness Event to benefit Kids On The Move, a UT based non-profit organization
Orem—February 17, 2009—dōTERRA International, a Utah-based wellness company, is partnering with Brigham Young University Recreation Management students to host the 1st Annual Pajama-Rama during National Sleep Awareness Week (March 1-8, 2009). According to the National Sleep Foundation's Sleep in America poll, 58 percent of US adults report at least one symptom of insomnia in the past year. Insufficient sleep can cause a wide range of health issues in both children and adults.
A host of local and corporate sponsors will support the event, which will be held March 5, 2009, from 6-8 pm at Kids On The Move, located at 475 West 260 North in Orem, Utah.
Activities will focus on the theme "Better Sleep, Better Life" and will include a silent auction (with all proceeds to benefit Kids On The Move), bedtime games, crafts, snacks, a bedtime story presentation given by Wendy Gourley of the Utah Storytelling Guild, and a presentation on "Simple Solutions for Better Sleep" by dōTERRA's Chief Medical Advisor, Dr. David K. Hill.
The free event is open to public of all ages and children are encouraged to wear their pajamas for the pajama parade and contest.
