Q1. How do I sign somebody up in Europe?
A. You may register Independent Product Consultants (IPC) for any European country online using the www.doterra.com website or by contacting the UK office directly (see Q10), who are pleased to assist you. Currently English and German languages are available online.
Q2. If I’m signing myself up, what do I put for Enroller-ID?
A. You will need the IPC number of the person who introduced you to the company but if you’re unsure you may contact Customer Service (see Q10) for assistance.
Q3. Can I sign up and order in Europe outside of the EU?
A. Yes, our website www.doterra.com is set up to handle all European country sign ups and the UK office will also ship to non-EU countries (see also Q6).
Q4. What currency will I use for orders in Europe?
A. UK Consultants will pay in British Pounds (£) and all other European Countries will pay in Euros (€).
Q5. How much tax will be added to my order?
A. All European orders are shipped from the UK warehouse and will be subject to 17.5% VAT plus shipping charges from the UK, unless the IPC has a VAT exemption status and contacts the UK office with the official registration number.
Q6. Do I have to pay VAT if I don’t live in an EU country in Europe?
A. No, non-EU residents are not subject to VAT but may have to pay import duties before receiving products as directed by customs in their particular country.
Q7. If I sign up as an IPC, am I required to order every month?
A. No, there is no obligation to order every month or run a business (sign others up), although IPCs will benefit from the compensation plan and bonuses achieved by qualifying each month. Commissions earned will be credited to your account monthly and may be used to purchase products or paid to you directly simply by contacting the UK office. A monthly Autoship will earn you Rewards Points which can be used to obtain free product.
Q8. Where can I find more information about the Commissions, Bonuses and Autoship Rewards in Europe?
A. The dōTERRA compensation plan is global seamless and remains unchanged for European markets. Information is available from your sponsor, the UK office or online at www.doterra.com, simply by clicking on United States. Many more documents are available at www.doterratools.com in several languages. Additionally, Europe currently follows the US product promotions listed online or via newsletters.
Q9. How do I direct contacts that want to simply purchase products at retail prices?
A. As an IPC, you also receive a replicating website which you can personalize and share with interested parties. Orders place here will ship directly to the retail customers and you will receive the retail profit credited to your account.
